Their phone system is so maddening I've actually thrown the phone across the room. It's so bad that I canceled every account I had with them out of pure frustration (checking, savings, money market, 2 credit cards). When the credit card department wanted to know why I was canceling, I made it clear that their support system sucks and I was tired of it. Do I think anything will change? Absolutely not. I understand I am a very tiny fish in an enormous ocean. But at least I don't have to deal with them any more. Chris, I'm very sorry to hear about what happened and I hope that you're able to get things straightened out. Thanks for writing posts like this. And this isn't really a media blitz, I'm just blogging about my experiences. I guess it really struck a nerve with a lot of people. They have more control over this message than they think. They are the reason this happened. They control what they do next. I'm just blogging it. But telling me I am going to be contacted by B of A corporate communications and then not getting contacted (yet) does makes them look so much worse IMO.
