Seems there’s not enough fun happening in the SEO world these days. Hopefully, this post will help alleviate some of that :-)
Here’s a few things I found aumusing coming out of the SEOsphere recently, and a few oldies but goodies.
“Tis better to have linked and lost then to never have linked at all”
Nov 9 - Chris Hooley - the silly sentence that started this blog post!
“SERP’s Up!”
Oct 30 - tfbpa - SEOmoz comment
“S.P.A.M. -Site Positioned Above Mine”
Jan 1 2005 - SEO for Google (first time I found it - turns out this one is common I guess!)
“People spamming alt tags thinking it will help them, but it’s really just messing up the blind dudes!”
Mar 30 2005 - jocelyn - comment on SEO Guy’s forum
“Great Minds Link Alike”
Oct 31 - rmccarley - another SEOmoz comment
This next one wasn’t at all SEO related, but I just couldn’t resist, it was too funny!
“I wasn’t that impressed with all of the religious paintings at the National Gallery because they all consist of a group of fat and pale people poking at Jesus ”
Nov 6 - rebecca - SEOmoz again (can you tell which blog I visit most often?)
When I first started this list, I thought I would have more… Actually, that gives me an idea! Maybe I’ll start looking out for funny SEO quotes from here on and build on this list. Stay tuned, my loyal readers. All 3 of you will laugh at my funny SEO blogging some day!
