I was in Portland Oregon the other day and I saw this bum in front of the liquor store that made me think… did this guy just give up on web marketing like, last week for a lucrative career in bumming? He’s even has his “Top 10″ list going. He could probably score hundreds of bottles of king cobra from the digg crowd with a sign like this!

phhhht… that dude is not even homeless, you guys got scammed. His beard is way to nicely trimmed for him to be homeless for more than half a day.
I would have told him to get a job and then slammed some jager in front of him.

This guy is really smart, what make people think that the homeless are always dirty. (Not True) I was homeless and working. I have an issue with the GP judging the way someone looks. I personally would not be able to do the sign thing bur it is an eye catcher for sure.

Love this story as it just proves that those people asking you for a dollar on the street are using them to buy beer or worse.
Check out street-people.com as they have lots of storys about people who hustle and bullshit people for a dollar so they can get their bottle of choice.

I watched a program just last night about this sort of thing. Was interesting that it was saying not to give any money to them. Said instead to give to a charity that helps the homeless.
I don’t know what the right answer is, but there is clearly a problem with the number of homeless people on our streets at the present time.

Awwww gosh, lol. He’s honest and he’s smart. He could use it when he won’t be thinking of alcohol. He could divert it to business, his way of thinking.
